Over coming higher education w/disabilities

First you shou always know your rights. There are federal and states laws that protect people with disabilities. Every accredited school should have a disability center or division of vocational rehabilitation center... I link for my state can be found below

http://www.nj.gov/njhealthlink/programdetails/dvr.html?pageID=Vocational+Rehabilitation+Services&file=file:/njhealthlink/programdetails/dvr.html&whichView=popUp

Second each state gives funds to help people with disabilities find employment. This means that pay a portion of your education bills as well as help you purchase accommodations equipment that will help you perform your job at work and will help you complete your education at school. This includes equipment and training.

Third if you have a disability your school is required to give you a accommodations letter stating to your teacher what your limitations are and how they can accommodate you to help you learn the course better. I have ADHD dyslexia, and dyscalulia. Below is a copy of my accommodation letter
